Akhil Agrawal is a serial entrepreneur who understands that it takes both stamina and endurance to build great companies. With decades of experience as an investor, board member and advisor, Akhil brings expertise in finance, healthcare, logistics, and strategic development. As a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Litera Capital, Akhil has played a vital role in funding and helping build dozens of successful businesses over the past 20 years. By uncovering Δ, he has been directly involved in acquisitions and transactions for over 50 private companies valued over $1 billion.
In 1993, Akhil co-founded the healthcare distribution company American Medical Depot (AMD) and led the company as President from 1993 to 2020. During his tenure, AMD underwent a metamorphosis, becoming a pioneering developer of complex integrated delivery network supply chain solutions for acute healthcare, primary care and government health systems.
Akhil received the prestigious Health Industry Distributors Association (HIDA) Industry Award of Distinction. He also has the honor of having been appointed to several government commissions over the last three decades. Akhil has served in leadership roles in—and is an active member of—numerous professional groups, corporate boards, and trade associations, including the Broward College Board of Trustees and American Heart Association. He is also active in philanthropy through the Agrawal Family Foundation.
Akhil received his degree in Finance from the University of Florida and is currently a PhD candidate at Florida Atlantic University. He and his wife, Mavara, have two children and reside in Weston, Florida.
Behind his soft-spoken exterior, Sukrit Agrawal is a force of nature. He excels at identifying new opportunities, implementing successful execution plans and challenging those around him to think more deeply and clearly. As Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Litera Capital, Sukrit plays a central role in evaluating Δ and conducting due diligence prior to investment. Before founding Litera Capital, Sukrit was Co-Founder and CEO of American Medical Depot from 1993 to 2020. He also previously held various positions in banking and government.
A strong proponent of education and a disciplined practitioner of the Socratic Method, Sukrit is passionate about improving communities and populations through increasing access to education. He is active in the Agrawal Family Foundation, which funds educational and technology-based initiatives to improve the health and well-being of women, children and those with special needs around the world. Sukrit has served on the board of trustees for Florida International University and Nova Southeastern University. He is also an active member of the Miami Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization.
Sukrit received a B.S. in electrical engineering from Duke University and an MBA from Florida International University.
